Biography
Angus King served as the 72nd Governor of Maine from 1995 to 2003 before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012. He is one of three independents in the Senate who caucus with the Democrats. King is known for his moderate, pragmatic approach and his focus on national security and intelligence.
