Privacy Policy

Effective July 3, 2026

SenatorDB is a free, informational reference site. We keep data collection to a minimum and we do not sell your personal information. This page explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

We do not require accounts and we do not ask you for personal information. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymized traffic — for example which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process technical data such as your IP address (typically truncated/anonymized), browser type, device, and pages viewed. This helps us improve the site.

Cookies

The cookies used on this site are set by Google Analytics for the purposes described above. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites by installing Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-party services

Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. Some pages link out to third-party and government websites (such as senate.gov); those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Data we publish

The senator information published on SenatorDB is compiled from public records and does not include private data about site visitors. See our About page for details on our data sources.
