Biography

Edward "Ed" Markey has represented Massachusetts in the Senate since winning a special election in 2013. He previously had a long career in the U.S. House of Representatives. Markey is a prominent advocate for environmental policy and climate action, best known as the Senate author of the Green New Deal resolution.
