Hannibal Hamlin

Biography

Hannibal Hamlin (died 1891) was an American politician who represented Maine in the United States Senate from June 1848 to March 1881, during the 30th–46th Congresses. Hamlin served as a Democrat and later as a Republican. Hamlin died on July 4, 1891.
